This role is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of a complex, business-critical billing platform used across multiple products, networks, and customer segments. You will define platform behavior, set guardrails, and make strategic trade-offs that balance flexibility with scalability. Partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, and Solutions teams, you will translate technical complexity into clear product priorities and ensure smooth integration, onboarding, and customization for customers. Your work will directly influence customer experience and long-term platform reliability while enabling teams across the organization to make informed decisions. This position offers the opportunity to operate at the intersection of product strategy, technical leadership, and customer impact in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product management experience with senior-level ownership of platform or financial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of billing, invoicing, payments, or accounting-adjacent platforms; telecom experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience translating complex product behavior into clear priorities, acceptance criteria, and iterative delivery.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, microservices, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
  • Understanding of customer onboarding, delivery, and post-sales technical support in SaaS or enterprise settings.
  • Strong product instincts with technical fluency, able to communicate platform complexity in customer-friendly terms.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own platform-level product strategy for the billing system, setting direction and priorities.
  • Translate complex billing behavior into clear product definitions, requirements, and guardrails.
  • Evaluate new use cases and customer requests, balancing flexibility, risk, and long-term maintainability.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to align on billing behavior and ownership boundaries.
  • Enable Marketing with product-authored documentation explaining system behavior, supported use cases, and customer value.
  • Collaborate with Solutions and Customer Delivery teams to distinguish one-off requirements from platform-level capabilities.
  • Maintain a shared understanding of the billing platform across the organization and ensure smooth onboarding and integration.
  • Define success metrics and drive initiatives that improve customer experience and platform adoption.

Benefits

  • Flexible remote work with hybrid options based on location.
  • Competitive salary range: $139,000 - $154,000 USD (US) or $128,000 - $142,000 CAD (Canada).
  • Generous Paid Time Off and parental/maternity leave policies.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match (US) and support for financial wellness.
  • Professional development and continuing education support.
  • Wellness benefits and home office setup allowance.
  • Collaborative, innovative culture with opportunities to influence high-impact systems.
