Senior Technical Pilot (787 / 777) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Senior Technical Pilot to join our team in Seattle, WA. Position Responsibilities: Provides flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers at multiple levels Maintains qualification as a Boeing Pilot on at least one aircraft model Supports new aircraft and system development and certification efforts Develops and validates procedures and operating techniques and assists other Technical Pilots with cross-model procedures Provides information and specialized technical services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operation efficiency Consults with cross-functional teams during accident investigations and analysis Research, edits, documents and coordinates publication of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing aircraft Represents Boeing as a technical lead by authoring and presenting professional papers at worldwide safety and flight operational forums Meets with regulatory agencies at the executive level. Supports sales campaigns by discussing and demonstrating aircraft and new flight technology Serve as a consultant to senior management and other industry professionals Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements 3000 flight hours Experience flying transport category aircraft Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 787 or 777 type rating Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Training and safety-related role experience Experience creating and revising procedures, checklists or other technical guidance for flight crew Airline experience in international operations Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Requirements

  • Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one
