About The Position

Senior Technical Lead is needed with strong expertise in Java, TomEE, SQL, and related technologies to join our dynamic and innovative IT business shared platforms team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading technical initiatives, helping with development of IT components, guiding the development team, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions as well as supporting existing solutions that are deployed across the globe. Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Rally, TomEE, SQL, Angular and AWS Cloud technologies will be essential for effectively managing project delivery, service integrations, Cloud architecture, and database interactions. Good knowledge of Data Stage Data Stage for ETL processes and data integration is preferred. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of the Global Complaints and Payment Card Industry (PCI) components to address regulatory requirements. to support strengthening current platforms to enable sustained compliance with global/local regulatory requirements related to E2E complaints management and PCI compliance. Knowledge of insurance domain and expertise with deployment of SaaS solutions will be a bonus.

Requirements

8+ years’ experience in Application Development with strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC framework, RESTful API, Pega PRPC Framework knowledge is a plus.
Experience in the Insurance industry, including understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements
Experience in Technical Delivery using Agile methodology
A proven track record in execution of large-scale project execution with globally distributed teams including collaboration with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC framework, RESTful API, Pega PRPC knowledge is a plus.
Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, Jenkins, Github. Should have exposure for CI/CD activities and expertise in software development methodologies
Solid understanding of Design Patterns and Microservices concepts
Good working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and models
Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS, with experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions.
Team player who can own the end-to-end delivery of the development/ deployment/configuration cycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

Good knowledge of Data Stage Data Stage for ETL processes and data integration is preferred.
Knowledge of insurance domain and expertise with deployment of SaaS solutions will be a bonus.
Familiarity with innovative technologies such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, and other emerging tech is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Senior Technical Lead is expected to lead a team or teams of consultants in Agile delivery and use his/her deep technical expertise and experience to guide the teams to build Global Complaints and PCI components.
This role will balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset.
Understand technical and deployment architecture
Work with Enterprise Architecture in defining scalable solutions to complex business needs
Deliver reusable frameworks and API integration patterns by partnering with architecture and platform teams
Oversee and assist development teams in executing projects within time and compliant to AIG architecture standards
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions to solve them
