About The Position

The Senior Technical Instructor and Applied Curriculum Developer designs, delivers, and refines professional OSINT training that integrates rigorous research methods, structured analytical thinking, and applied technical practice. This role focuses on developing learners who can demonstrate proficiency through project-based work, applying disciplined approaches to complex information problems rather than completing isolated tasks. Instruction emphasizes operational relevance, guiding learners through the full lifecycle of analytical work from research design and collection through processing, analysis, product development, and dissemination. The role requires strong methodological judgment, comfort with industry technologies, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, defensible instructional experiences that prepare learners for professional practice.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in OSINT, investigations, intelligence analysis, or closely related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver professional training grounded in research methodology and analytical rigor.
  • Experience guiding learners through project-based analytical work that culminates in defensible written or visual products.
  • Comfort working with complex data and teaching foundational data handling practices in an applied, accessible manner.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation concepts sufficient to contextualize their use in analytical workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to teach complex concepts clearly to diverse professional audiences.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating within a structured training organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience applying or teaching structured analytical techniques in professional or operational settings.
  • Background in digital investigations, cyber-enabled research, or advanced OSINT collection and analysis.
  • Prior experience training analysts, investigators, or intelligence professionals.
  • Relevant professional certifications aligned with OSINT, investigations, or analytical practice.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles within professional or operational training environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver applied curricula that teach disciplined research, analysis, and product development through real-world, project-based instruction.
  • Lead learners through complex analytical problems that require planning, judgment, iteration, and clear reasoning, with evaluation based on demonstrated proficiency and quality of outcomes.
  • Integrate scientific research principles, structured analytical techniques, and proven analytical cycles into instruction without reliance on tool-centric teaching.
  • Apply industry-standard technologies and data workflows as enablers of methodology, including working with real data for collection, processing, transformation, and basic visualization.
  • Coach learners on how to select, apply, and defend analytical approaches appropriate to the problem, audience, and operational context.
  • Collaborate with other instructors to maintain consistent instructional standards and continuously improve curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
  • Ensure training remains grounded in operational reality, ethical practice, and professional expectations across investigative and analytical environments.
