About The Position

Support updates and improvements to existing computer science curriculum Test lessons, activities, and assessments for clarity, accuracy, and student experience Help create instructional materials such as examples, exercises, handouts, and activities Review code examples and interactive elements to ensure correctness Assist with organizing and documenting curriculum resources and updates Research computer science standards and help with alignment under guidance from the team Use AI tools to help brainstorm or draft curriculum content, while learning how to critically review outputs Participate in curriculum reviews, team meetings, and collaborative planning sessions This is a fully in-person internship based in the CodeHS Chicago office.

Requirements

  • Education, computer science, instructional design, or related experience, current students encouraged to apply
  • Interest in computer science education or education technology
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Clear written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Introductory programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Experience tutoring, teaching, TA-ing, or creating educational content
  • Familiarity with K–12 education or computer science courses
