About The Position

AMA is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to support advanced aerospace programs as well as corporate business development. The successful candidate may provide independent review & advice, research & development, and program and project management for various tasks and programs related to NASA and Department of Defense (DoD) aerospace systems. Work may include capture and proposal support for corporate business development efforts in pursuing contracts with NASA, the DoD, and commercial industries. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering field.
  • Minimum 25 years of applicable work-related experience.
  • Experience managing teams of various sizes
  • Experience managing programs with budgets of $100M+
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to dynamic work requirements
  • Knowledge of NASA mission concepts and processes
  • Knowledge or DoD processes and terminology
  • Ability to interface successfully with customers
  • Active Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Degrees are a plus.
