About The Position

VTG is seeking a Technical Advisor to support work in Pearl City, Hawaii. What will you do? Serve as Technical Advisor overseeing the upgrade of Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4I) systems throughout the Headquarters and in the GENSER Communications Center. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Provide technical insight of issues, gaps, and overlap of currently deployed C4I systems and facilitate improvement of the C4I capabilities within the Headquarters and the GENSER Communications. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Lead initiatives to improve coalition interoperability. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Provide IT systems problem identification, diagnosis and resolution. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Support inventory, procurement, replacement, and dissemination of Iridium Satellite Phone assets to Pacific Submarine Force commands. Establish, manage and maintain individual user accounts for MPR/MNIS, VSE, IANTN, BICES and any other future systems installed in the Headquarters. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Consult with NAVWAR/NIWC/Submarine Program Offices coordinating all Communications Center modernizations and installations. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Assess and collaborate with personnel outside of SUBPAC Headquarters on program accomplishment and the long-term needs of the Headquarters to recommend appropriate solutions. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Provide training and/or demonstrate proper operation of systems and equipment to a government point of contact as identified by the COR. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access. Support conference attendance and presentations as identified by the COR. The contractor will be required to provide cleared staff at the TS/SCI level for facility and systems access.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current final Top Secret Clearance
  • At least ten (10) years experience with operational, systems, and technical architectures for complex systems in joint theater and deployed submarine forces.
  • At least ten (10) years experience with ability to identify and characterize complex technical problems, assess impact to the warfighter, and deliver operational solutions.
  • At least ten (10) years experience with ability to create a vision and transform that vision to support the delivery of submarine communications and information systems.
  • At least ten (10) years experience in planning, organizing, and managing highly complex, innovative engineering development and integration projects and programs.
