About The Position

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision and growth of the tax department. You’ll not only manage a robust portfolio of clients but also ease the Principal's workload by taking on critical tax engagements, enhancing team leadership, and fostering long-term client relationships. Your leadership will be integral in mentoring the next generation of tax professionals while ensuring exceptional client service and business development success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA required
10+ years of tax experience with a proven track record in leadership and business development
Strong business development skills with the ability to generate new opportunities and foster long-term client loyalty
Ability to manage and develop talent while ensuring high-quality service delivery

Responsibilities

Lead & Innovate: Define and execute the department’s growth strategy, driving new business opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Client Relationship Steward: Manage and expand relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision, and help them navigate complex tax matters.
Leadership Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers, elevating their technical skills and leadership capabilities, all while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Operational Excellence: Own complex tax engagements, taking the lead on high-level tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
Delegate & Support: Take significant responsibility for day-to-day client management, allowing the Principal to focus on high-level strategic initiatives and client acquisition.
