The Senior Talent Partner is a strategic recruiting leader responsible for managing high-impact, specialized, and leadership-level hiring across National CORE. This role blends advanced full-cycle recruitment with advisory support to department leaders, talent pipeline development, and project leadership related to workforce planning, interview training, and recruitment program development. The Senior Talent Partner serves as a primary talent advisor and works closely with Directors, VPs, and hiring leaders to shape hiring decisions, provide labor market insights, support equitable hiring practices, and build long-term talent strategies. This position operates as a senior individual contributor within the Talent Acquisition team, providing strategic partnership to leaders and supporting the advancement of recruitment practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including senior or specialized roles.
  • Proven success partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions.
  • Advanced sourcing and talent intelligence skills (market mapping, passive outreach).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence hiring decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment data and present findings to leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including initiative, judgment, and team support.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms (Paycom preferred) and sourcing tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience accepted.
  • Regular, punctual attendance.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use office technology for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in nonprofit, real estate, construction, housing, or operations-based industries.
  • Experience leading recruitment programs or training initiatives.
  • Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, AIRS, or LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Additional HR or recruiting credentials strongly preferred.
  • Occasional travel for recruitment events or leadership meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for senior, technical, and business-critical roles.
  • Drive passive outreach, market research, and competitive talent mapping.
  • Advise on talent availability, compensation alignment, and recruitment planning.
  • Influence hiring decisions through structured candidate evaluations, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Coach leaders on interviewing, selection practices, and candidate assessment.
  • Prepare screening evaluations, interview recommendations, and hiring insights.
  • Provide guidance and support to Talent Partners on complex or stalled requisitions.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines for high-need or future-skill roles.
  • Support recruitment marketing, job posting quality, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Represent National CORE at events, career fairs, and industry outreach opportunities.
  • Support and contribute to initiatives such as diversity outreach, interview training, process improvements, and recruitment programs
  • Develop materials, workflow improvements, and documentation to improve TA operations.
  • Support recruiting technology enhancements and strategic partnerships.
  • Provide mentorship and peer support to Talent Partners and Specialists, sharing best practices and guidance on sourcing, evaluation, and hiring strategy.
  • Leverage recruiting data, hiring trends, and candidate funnel insights to inform hiring strategies and provide recommendations to leaders.
  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards across the hiring process.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of TA tools, playbooks, and processes.
