About The Position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter supports hiring across assigned campus locations by managing the full recruitment process—from job posting through offer delivery. This role builds strong partnerships with hiring managers, anticipates staffing needs, and actively sources candidates using a mix of platforms, networks, and outreach events. The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter also ensures recruiting practices are compliant and candidate-focused, while helping maintain accuracy in Workday and other tools. This role supports multiple openings at once and serves as a helpful, responsive teammate within the broader HR team.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years plus of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously while maintaining process accuracy.
  • Knowledge of federal/state employment law, EEO, and OFCCP compliance.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (preferably Workday).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Ability to manage recruitment timelines, multitask, and maintain accuracy.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms.
  • Strong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Solution-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as a talent advisor in public service, education, or high-volume environments.
  • Strong follow-through, curiosity, and ability to work in fast-paced settings.
  • Previous experience utilizing Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, selection support, and offer delivery.
  • Keep all job requisitions, candidate records, and statuses updated in Workday.
  • Build partnerships with hiring managers by understanding their team needs and coaching them through the recruitment process.
  • Provide regular updates, guidance, and recommendations that result in quality hires.
  • Support candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle by ensuring clear, respectful, and timely communication.
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for a positive experience.
  • Ensure recruiting practices align with EEO, OFCCP, and TSTC’s Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Maintain organized, complete records that support audit readiness and data integrity.
  • Use job boards, professional networks, events, and referrals to attract talent.
  • Support internal mobility and the employee referral program by promoting openings and identifying internal candidates.
  • Offer feedback and contribute to improvements in recruiting tools, workflows, and candidate engagement.
  • Attend job fairs or outreach events and support broader HR initiatives as needed.
