Job Summary The Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s future by delivering exceptional, end‑to-end recruiting support and strategic talent advisory. In this role, you will work closely with HR and business leaders to understand workforce needs, design proactive talent strategies, and build strong pipelines that enable long-term organizational growth. You will lead full‑cycle recruitment across multiple business units while ensuring an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring managers. As a trusted talent advisor, you will leverage data, market insights, and recruiting best practices to influence decisions, enhance hiring effectiveness, and elevate our overall talent approach. This is a full‑time, onsite position based in our Trumbull, CT office.

Requirements

  • Talent Acquisition Expertise - Strong knowledge of full cycle recruitment best practices, talent sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Employment Regulations - Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations impacting recruitment.
  • Technical & Systems Proficiency - Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management - Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data‑Driven & Insight‑Focused - Ability to analyze talent data and market trends to drive insights and recommendations.
  • Adaptable & Results‑Oriented - Skilled in navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism & Judgment - High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Cross‑Functional Support Experience - Experience supporting multiple business units or a matrixed organization.
  • You bring at least 7+ years of full cycle recruitment experience.
  • You’ve worked both in an agency environment and in a corporate setting, allowing you to balance speed, quality, and partnership.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation across multiple business units.
  • Consult with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce plans, define position requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Build strong talent pipelines using sourcing strategies such as direct outreach, social recruiting, talent communities, employee referrals, and industry networking.
  • Leverage recruiting insights and data to advise leaders on competitive trends, compensation benchmarks, and candidate availability, influencing hiring decisions and workforce strategies.
  • Drive consistency and excellence in the hiring process by training managers, ensuring process adherence, improving interview capability, and promoting fair and equitable hiring practices.
  • Collaborate with HR partners on talent planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, internal policies, and data privacy requirements throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage recruitment operations tasks which include requisition tracking, candidate flow, reporting, and metrics to monitor performance and identify process improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including participation in TA and HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.
