Senior Systems Architect
About The Position
Client Agency is Customs & Border Protection Performs a variety of system design tasks which are broad in nature and are concerned with design and implementation of major enterprise systems development and integration, including supporting personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities and/or equipment. Guides system full life cycle system implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system management plans and system integration and test plans. Develops system configuration documentation, including detailed designs for capacity planning, security systems and disaster recovery. Analyzes users’ requirements and high-level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications. Develops detailed system Architecture and system design documentation. Develops Disaster Recovery Plans. Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total IT requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Provides expertise on an as-needed basis to all task assignments.
Requirements
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- BS or BA degree required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
