Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator or equivalent role.
  • Strong, hands-on expertise with Windows Server .
  • Deep working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange .
  • Practical experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and Intune.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience supporting users across multiple locations.
  • Networking fundamentals (switching, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Experience supporting field-based or mobile workforces.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure infrastructure or cloud-based services preferred.
  • Hybrid on-prem / cloud environments a plus.
  • Security tooling and best practices preferred.
  • Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or similarly distributed environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, administer, and support Windows Server environments.
  • Own and manage Active Directory: User and group management. Security groups and permissions. Group Policy design, troubleshooting, and enforcement.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365: Exchange (Online and/or Hybrid). Azure AD / Entra ID. Intune / Endpoint Manager. Identity, access control, MFA, and conditional access.
  • Manage endpoint configuration, policies, and compliance using Intune.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication, access, and system issues.
  • Monitor system health, availability, and performance.
  • Implement and maintain patching, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support and improve security posture in collaboration with leadership.
  • Assist with networking-related tasks as needed (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VLANs, routing, etc.).
  • Participate in IT planning, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
  • Provide escalation-level support and mentorship to other IT staff when needed.
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Be a self starter and work either as a team or independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment with minimal downtime.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
