About The Position

Victory Solutions is a service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVO) and woman-owned small business (WOSB) in the aerospace, defense, and technical engineering industries. Victory Solutions specializes in providing exceptional technology development and engineering services to government organizations such as NASA and the Department of Defense; as well as commercial customers such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and SAIC. We are looking for a Senior System Administrator in support of the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX) Program. General Summary: The Senior System Administrator shall be responsible IAW Department of Defense Guidelines and Instructions to administer, maintain and secure Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Cisco routing/switching technologies, and virtual servers/machines and security onboard the Sea-Based X-Band Radar platform.

Requirements

  • A DoD Baseline Security Certification, such as Security+, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is required.
  • Certification and demonstrated proficiency in an applicable computing environment, operating system, security tool, software or device is required (such as Windows, Cisco, VMWare, ACAS, HBSS, etc.) is required.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • SECRET security clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a Cyber Security Related degree is desired.
  • 10 years of applicable professional experience is required
  • Prior Maritime/Navy experience is desired.
  • The successful candidate must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior System Administrator will work at sea or in port based on operational requirements of the Sea-Based X-Band vessel.
  • Administer, maintain and secure Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Cisco routing/switching technologies, and virtual servers/machines.
  • Implement DISA STIGs, vulnerability analysis and remediation, and virus scanning.
  • Application and administration of operating system patches and software version updates.
  • Design and develop backup and systems recovery solutions.
  • Develop and test security features to be implemented into control system operating environment.
  • Ability to pass a maritime physical is required.
  • Ability to travel 75-100%
