SAIC is seeking a motivated and experienced System Administrator to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This position is 100% onsite. Shift Schedule\: Monday-Friday, 6\:00 AM to 6\:00 PM core hours with occasional after-hours onsite work to support a NIPR and SIPR environment. Position Overview: Manage currently supported and subsequent Windows Server Operating Systems on virtual operating environments, providing technical oversight and consultation services. Perform complex system administration and security engineering efforts, STIG remediation, advanced GPO implementation and system upgrades. Research and resolve performance, capacity, and other server-related issues. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior systems administrators and other IT staff. Improve efficiencies by documenting and standardizing support processes while capturing and developing best practices. Provide support for the escalation and communication of statuses to leadership to include the government customer. Maintain and update Server STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) requirements to comply with DISA standards. Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with efficiency. Adhere to change management guidelines by writing Change Requests and seeking the necessary approvals. Support operational transition of enterprise solutions into production.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more of experience or Masters and three (3) or more years of related experience.
  • Active DOD Top Secret clearance; ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • US citizenship.
  • Active DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, etc.)
  • Relevant Computing Environment Certificate.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy (GP) management.
  • Experience implementing and managing Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) to support a large-scale Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms (Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM) and experience with advanced troubleshooting.
  • Experience implementing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML).
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proven track record in developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience working in a multi-tenant or large enterprise server environment.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell to improve and standardize system management.

  • Active DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification.
