About The Position

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Military Commercial Derivative Aircraft (MCDA) support equipment engineering team is seeking a Senior Support Maintenance Analyst to support their team in Tukwila, WA. The Maintenance Analyst will be part of a team researching and assessing engineering changes to determine their impact on maintenance operations. The MCDA team supports all derivative programs in the Puget Sound region (KC-46, VC-25B and E-7A). The role involves developing support program plans and schedules, validating standard deliverables, supporting trade studies for platform subsystems, and researching, documenting, and providing technical information. The analyst will also support the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data, and integrated support infrastructure. They will work with supplier data for integration into the MCDA support system, act as a technical team member on proposal teams, evaluate requirements, write Basis of Estimates (BOE) and Statement of Work (SOW), and perform evaluations of Product Revision Records (PRRs) and design-related changes for support equipment. Additionally, the position requires performing System Support Analysis (SSA) tasks for MCDA programs, participating in Industry Steering Committee (ISC) and Working Group meetings, working with Engineering and the FAA through all phases of certification (Amended Type Certification, Supplemental Type Certification, and Military Type Certification), and collaborating with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) on the creation, tracking, and oversight of CITAPS (Commercial Item Transfer at Price) contracts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle
  • 5+ years of experience in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals
  • 5+ years of experience with military and commercial specs and standards
  • Experience briefing Customer and Organization leadership
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Power plant ratings
  • Experience with military commercial derivative aircraft
