Job Description Summary: The Strategy Analyst, Senior partners with executive leadership to shape long-range strategic plans, evaluate growth vectors, and assess competitive positioning across the national security enterprise to include Department of War, Intelligence Community, State/local governments, legislative branch, and industry. The analyst conducts rigorous market, program and portfolio analysis to help inform capital allocations and investment prioritizations across the business and functional units. The incumbent translates complex government budget documents, policies, and strategic guidance into actionable business insights. This role partners with functions and businesses to perform scenario models that account for political risk, appropriations volatility, and second- and third-order impacts on the portfolio. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Serves as a key advisor and strategist, providing critical support and guidance to Strategy team. Provide subject matter expertise in strategic initiatives, principles, and ideas in support of national security activities. Work with Chief Security Officer (CSO), Finance, and COO to support CAPEX planning and execution. Partner with CSO in managing day to day tracking, planning, and execution of NBC meetings, decisions, and implementation. Work with CSO to develop strategic plans, including market assessment, portfolio analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform investment decisions. Direct essential activities as the point of contact for the Strategy team including, orchestrating strategic leadership off-sites, coordinating Town Hall meetings, managing weekly leadership discussions, campus engagement activities and convening focused sessions for targeted action and problem-solving. Monitor and analyze Department of War (DoW) budget cycles (PB/POM), policy documents (NDS, NMS), and Joint Staff initiatives to align company strategy with military needs. Supports the tracking of CSO metrics and objectives and supports planning and execution of priority activities across the CSO team. Develop staff products, briefing material, decision memoranda and correspondence for CSO and senior leaders. Supports the day-to-day planning, management, and execution of strategy organization financial activity to include tracking of expenses, contracts, and cost projections. Coordinate across internal functional organizations and external stakeholders to synchronize inputs and meet suspense requirements. Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role and/or may provide guidance on activities of lower-level personnel. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of DoD organizational structure and processes
  • Prior experience analyzing defense technologies and budgets
  • Expert ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly in written and oral form.
  • Strong understanding of federal policy development, staffing processes and decision support practices.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environment with limited guidance.
  • Demonstrated skill in stakeholder engagement, coordination and consensus building.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in defense industry or with the defense department supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Current in scope Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
