About The Position

Advocate for relevant policy issues and develop, drive and positively impact campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders and global government affairs colleagues on priority issues, strategies, and/or programs. Participate in internal/external events and supports executive engagements in Redmond and as needed globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Technology, Law, Liberal Arts, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years work experiencein the private sector, government, or academia or related area OR equivalent experience
  • Proven track record engaging with government officials, political and corporate stakeholders
  • Understanding of geopolitics as well as the wider cyber norms landscape to help inform policy considerations and opportunities for the company, coupled with a proven track record of supporting the concept of meaningful multistakeholder diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss and advance complex technical and policy concepts with diverse stakeholders at various levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive impactful campaigns to address complex challenges, individually and as part of a wider, matrixed team
  • Flexibility and willingness to shift priorities and adapt to new policy needs, leveraging government affairs background and expertise
  • A collaborative and team-first mindset and a desire to learn and grow
