About The Position

The Strategic Operations Analyst is responsible for driving enterprise‑wide strategic planning, conducting advanced business and financial analyses, and supports executive decision‑making across the organization. This role partners closely with the C‑suite and business unit heads to define long‑term strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, and ensure the company’s strategic priorities are executed effectively.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in strategy, finance, business operations, consulting, analytics, or similar.
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills (Excel/Sheets; comfort with assumptions and sensitivity analyses).
  • Proficiency with data visualization (Power BI/Tableau/Looker/Excel) and storytelling in PowerPoint/Slides.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; executive presence in materials and meetings.
  • Project coordination skills; ability to drive clarity, owners, and timelines.
  • Experience with SQL or a BI tool; comfort with large datasets.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work in high-growth or matrixed environments.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and driver-based planning.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual/quarterly operating planning and goal setting (OKRs/KPIs); build models to quantify initiatives, capacity, and ROI.
  • Conduct market/competitive and internal performance analyses; distill findings into crisp executive recommendations.
  • Prepare board/executive materials: dashboards, narratives, and decision memos.
  • Build and maintain driver-based models (revenue, cost, capacity, scenario analysis).
  • Partner with Finance to translate strategy into forecasts and measurable targets.
  • Create “what-if” analyses to evaluate trade-offs, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Track cross-functional initiatives, own project plans, dependencies, and risks.
  • Coordinate leadership agendas, pre-reads, and follow-ups; ensure clarity of decisions and owners.
  • Establish operating cadences (weekly business reviews, QBRs) and action trackers.
  • Map and optimize workflows across teams; identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
  • Implement lightweight governance for prioritization and status reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for KPIs and leading indicators (operational and financial).
  • Translate complex analysis into simple, actionable insights for senior audiences.
  • Facilitate alignment across Finance, Strategy, Ops, HR, GTM, and Product as needed.
  • Create templates, playbooks, and SOPs to scale operational excellence.
