About The Position

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. The AWS Specialists & Partner (ASP) Communication, Events, & Executive Engagement (ACE) team is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Creative Lead to spearhead the vision and execution of engaging digital and in-person creative experiences that inspire and move technical and non-technical audiences across AWS Partner Network. The Senior Strategic Creative Lead will be responsible for developing and scaling an integrated creative communications and engagement plan that promotes ASP's vision and goals to global internal and external audiences. They will create compelling visual content for executive communications, high-profile meetings and speaking engagements, and drive visual leadership opportunities that showcase AWS's business value to customers and Partners. Success in this role requires deep customer obsession, passion for creative innovation, and ability to deliver breakthrough visual experiences that drive business results. The ideal candidate will design data-driven creative strategies, identify high-impact brand opportunities across digital and physical channels, and develop compelling visual narratives that resonate with technical and executive audiences. They must demonstrate exceptional art direction skills, experience leveraging generative AI tools to augment and scale creative work, maintain trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, and uphold the highest creative standards while managing multiple complex projects. Critical to success is the ability to have bias for action, balance creative leadership with collaborative partnership, stay curious about emerging design technologies and trends, and take calculated risks to innovate and raise the bar on experiences that convert audiences and elevate ASP’s positioning.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
  • Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies
  • Proven track record directing creative campaigns for major enterprise brands
  • Experience leading creative strategy and execution for both B2B technology and consumer retail brands.
