This position works closely with the Controller and cross-functional partners and is instrumental in maintaining strong financial discipline as the organization continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup formulas, complex worksheets)
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems; multi-entity experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communicator who works well independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CMA strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive key aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Prepare financial statements and partner with leadership on management reporting, analysis, and financial insights
  • Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide clear explanations and actionable recommendations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification
  • Coordinate and support external audits, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and audit responses
  • Support sales and use tax reporting and filings
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team members, reinforcing accuracy and internal controls
  • Identify, recommend, and help implement process, system, and internal control improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Serve as a finance partner to cross-functional teams including Operations, HR, Payroll, and IT
  • Support special projects and ad-hoc reporting related to growth, system enhancements, and operational improvement
