CCV is seeking a full-time Senior Staff Accountant to support the Club's financial reporting and day-to-day accounting functions. This role is responsible for a broad range of financial activities, including preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining organized records, supporting internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA preferred
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years' accounting experience; fixed asset experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • A valid driver's license is required to travel between sites for the physical inspection of assets.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Northstar, ClearSky, or Real Asset Management Series4000 software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements—including income statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules—while analyzing variances and providing actionable insights
  • Manage the general ledger by posting journal entries and completing timely, accurate account reconciliations
  • Track and report on fixed assets, maintain depreciation schedules, and ensure accurate capitalization
  • Uphold internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance with GAAP, club standards, and relevant regulations
  • Assist in developing and maintaining annual budgets and rolling forecasts, collaborating with department leaders on key assumptions
  • Compile documentation and coordinate smoothly with auditors during internal and external audits
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement by streamlining accounting processes and leveraging systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
