Senior Accountants take ownership of reporting costs, productivity, margins and expenditures for companies and organizations. Summary of Essential Job Duties Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. Calculate and Record monthly Subscription Based Revenue Prepare and Maintain monthly customer allowance accruals related to coops and other promotional related allowances Assist with the recording of payroll, benefits and bonus entries and accruals. Assist with Fixed Assets and Leases entries and research. Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors. Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Support month-end and year-end close process Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
