As we transition from clinical development to commercial launch, we are building a team of high-performing, mission-driven individuals ready to tackle one of the most important challenges in oncology. We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to work on site 3 days/week. This is a rare opportunity to join a medical device company at its first commercialization phase and shape the foundation of our go-to-market execution.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
2–4+ years of experience in Accounting, Audit, or a related Finance discipline.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Understanding of GAAP, with particular emphasis on revenue recognition, working knowledge of cost accounting principles such as standard costing, cost allocations, and variance analysis
Demonstrated experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities.
Ability to perform account reconciliations, including A/R, sales tax, and inventory.
Competence in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience preparing and analyzing financial reports for internal stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and clearly communicate business drivers.
Highly proactive and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with QuickBooks Online, Concur, and Carta preferred.

Responsibilities

Month-End Close Support (25%)
Develop a strong understanding of the company’s order-to-cash cycle, including quoting, billing, and revenue recognition processes.
Perform monthly and quarterly analytical review procedures to ensure accurate revenue and cost accounting.
Prepare and reconcile accounts receivable (A/R).
Complete sales tax reconciliations and support compliance needs.
Assist with inventory tracking, valuation, and reconciliation.
Cost Accounting and Inventory Management (20%)
Support cost accounting activities, including cost allocations, standard cost updates, and analysis of cost trends and variances.
Assist with inventory tracking, valuation, and reconciliation.
Commercial Support & Analytics (20%)
Partner with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Market Access teams to support accurate revenue forecasting, budgeting, and performance insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards, business intelligence tools, and reporting frameworks to inform strategic decision-making.
Financial Analytics & Operations (35%)
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including model updates and scenario planning.
Perform budget-to-actual analyses and identify key drivers of variances.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal stakeholders.
Assist with special projects, issue resolution, and ad-hoc financial analyses.
Support fundraising activities and maintain cap table documentation and accuracy.
