About The Position

SCOPE: This position is responsible for supporting the Finance Department with new software implementation and general full cycle accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and exercise appropriate discretion and judgment.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in multiple software applications, performing transfer and consolidation of data.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct self in keeping with Encompass values and expectations

Responsibilities

• New software implementation support including data mapping, organizing, validation, process documentation & testing, existing source integrations, amongst other tasks.
• Some support of full cycle month end processing, including journal entries, reporting, reconciliations of balance sheet.
• Support Payroll processing by reviewing and testing procedures and integration with new financial software.
• Support accounts payable and receivable, including process documentation testing and updating, including new financial software and form development for reimbursements.
• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as assigned.
