About The Position

The Sports Partnerships Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing high-value partnerships that advance the organization’s strategic goals. This role blends relationship building with strong commercial acumen, ensuring that alliances, sponsorships, and brand activations deliver measurable impact and long-term value. Working closely with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams, this leader drives growth through meaningful external collaboration and strategic market engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or appropriate equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Knowledge of professional selling techniques and use of CRM software
  • Proven creative, aggressive sales management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills (including public speaking) in English.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales presentation and merchandising skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Results driven, self-motivated
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Pass the drug test
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible Full-Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to travel to various locations in organizational service areas, as required by duties.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Develop partnership strategies that expand market reach, enhance brand equity, and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Lead negotiations to structure mutually beneficial agreements with clear deliverables, timelines, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of sponsorships—from prospecting and proposal development to activation and renewal.
  • Build compelling sponsorship packages that articulate value and align with partner objectives.
  • Manage contract execution and ensure fulfillment of all sponsorship commitments.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends (i.e. beverage, retail, natural segment, etc.).
  • Excellent Negotiate contract terms and partnership agreements to ensure they are financially and strategically advantageous.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of sponsorships—from prospecting and proposal development to activation and renewal.
  • Build compelling sponsorship packages that articulate value and align with partner objectives.
  • Manage contract execution and ensure fulfillment of all sponsorship commitments.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and creative teams to design and execute brand activations tied to partnership agreements.
  • Ensure activations are on brand, audience relevant, and optimized for engagement.
  • Monitor activation performance and recommend enhancements for future initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, fostering trust, transparency, and long term collaboration.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess partnership health and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Proactively resolve issues and maintain strong communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Analyze performance data to assess ROI and guide strategic decision making.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting outcomes, insights, and recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to any location where the Company operates and expand territory as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to attend various meetings as requested with minimal advanced notice.
