About The Position

Avid Core is seeking a Real Estate Outreach Specialist with experience in real estate planning and landowner outreach for a federal government client. Applicants can be located in the Washington, DC metro area or in Texas.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience of communications or real estate experience supporting a Federal Agency
  • Experience supporting landowner outreach or real estate planning and acquisition is required.
  • Experience with federal clients is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel is a must; and Power BI tools is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
  • Able to manage multiple high-priority tasks.
  • Willingness to travel, communicate, and maintain positive interactions with landowners along the southern border communities.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Able to manage and follow up on deadlines, as well as to identify and recommend solutions and next steps.
  • Fun and energetic.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large infrastructure projects and real estate planning along the southern border is a plus.
  • Top Secret, Secret, and/or current U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) public trust clearance preferred.
  • Top Secret/Secret clearance desired

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of large infrastructure projects
  • Help manage the development of landowner outreach material to support infrastructure projects
  • Conduct direct outreach to landowners via phone, email, mail, and in-person meetings
  • Coordinate with outreach manager & SMEs to provide landowners with clear expectations regarding project scope, schedule, and impacts
  • Track and maintain landowner outreach information based on specific projects and geographic locations
  • Coordinate closely with real estate subject matter experts to ensure real estate schedule milestones are met
  • Ensure all action items from all landowner meetings are tracked to completion
  • Review programs and processes to assess effectiveness, identify existing or potential problems, resolve and remedy circumstances before problems occur, and modify processes to improve products, procedures, and programs
  • Develop and maintain real estate landowner outreach schedule for multiple large infrastructure projects, to include key milestone dates, deadlines, meetings, discussions, etc.
  • Respond to landowner inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner
  • Schedule and attend meetings and prepare talking points and after-action reports detailing the meeting notes and action items
  • Maintain a list of tracked action items and assist with the closure of those items
  • Coordinate landowner site visits and meetings
  • Help track landowner consent, permissions, and access agreements
  • Participate in project execution and construction calls to document landowner stakeholder coordination actions
  • Maintain project documentation files and track points of contact, and key activities
  • Develop weekly and monthly progress reports detailing key project activities
  • Other duties as assigned
