As a Senior Finance Specialist within PNC's Real Estate Finance team, you will partner with the Real Estate Banking business within the C&IB line of business to budget, forecast, analyze results, and support business leaders. You will collaborate with the broader PNC Real Estate Finance team, the C&IB Control team, other Finance partners, and Real Estate Banking leaders. This role is a mixture of cyclical financial reporting, project-based work, and ad-hoc analysis. A successful candidate should have strong analytical capability, critical thinking, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

• Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
• Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
• Certifications are often desired.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides and may lead a variety of financial management and accounting services.
• Prepares internal financial and business metric reports and provides information to support quarterly and annual external reports.
• Leads annual budget process and monthly forecast updates and may lead or contribute to strategic plans.
• Delivers performance monitoring and communications and ad hoc finance and accounting analysis, which may include management accounting analysis.
• Identifies the accounting practices of the business and collaborates with the business on implementation of new accounting standards that impact the business.
• Delivers information in response to requests and requirements of auditors, regulators, and investors.
• Prepares financial data and analysis to support risk management and identifies and escalates key risks to management.
• May also contribute to risk review and challenge for assigned business.
• Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes.
• Compiles data used for Stress Testing Projections.
