About The Position

The Senior Specialist, HR Technology Planning will lead the planning and delivery of assigned enterprise HR technology initiatives, providing end‑to‑end project delivery from discovery through implementation and stabilization, in alignment with the HR Technology roadmap, HR Transformation and HR Shared Services operating model. Translates approved strategic priorities into structured delivery plans, coordinates cross‑functional execution, and ensures solutions are implemented and stabilized to support intended business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Owns end to end delivery of HR technology initiatives from inception to stabilization, including scope definition, project plan development, RAID log management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Translates strategic plans into business needs and delivery-ready work by facilitating discovery sessions, refining problem statements, and documenting requirements.
  • Leads prioritization and planning for day-to-day operational and tactical tasks to support continued enhancements to the HR Self-Service platform and the HR Shared Services model.
  • Manages the day-to-day intake and prioritization processes including the HR Technology intake form, request tracker, and preparation of materials to support leadership decision making.
  • Manages HR Technology control board and KPIs to track progress, identify risks for delays and surface insights and opportunities to the HR Technology leadership team.
  • Collaborates with the broader HR Technology team for inputs to the the HR AI Community of Practice, SharePoint Hub and AI roadmap.
  • Partners with HR Generalists, HR Services, SHRBPs, and HR Centers of Expertise to assess business processes and enable the HR Shared Services processes through effective use of technology.
  • Leads stakeholder engagement and governance forums to drive alignment on priorities, scope, and delivery timelines for HR technology initiatives.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for assigned initiatives, communicating project status, expectations, risks, and impacts to stakeholders across the HR Division.
  • Collaborates with cross‑functional partners (including HR, I&IT, and vendors) throughout planning, design, development, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Manages the collection, clarification, and dissemination of information to support informed decision‑making, change readiness, and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Identifies and advances opportunities to automate end‑to‑end HR business processes, increasing self‑service capability and reducing manual effort in alignment with the HR Shared Services model.
  • Integrates change management considerations into HR technology initiatives, including impacts to processes, roles, training needs, and user readiness, to support successful adoption and sustained outcomes.
  • Develops, tracks, and analyzes KPIs related to HR Technology delivery and solution performance to monitor effectiveness, surface risks, and inform continuous improvement.
  • Compiles and assesses continuous improvement and automation opportunities identified through Divisional task inventories, operational feedback, and delivery insights, and provides recommendations to inform prioritization and sequencing of enhancements.
  • Provides guidance to others in supporting transformation planning and implementation activities, without direct supervision; delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate staff as required.
  • Identifies communication requirements, creates communication plans, schedules training sessions and delivers training and communication as required.
