About The Position

We are seeking a strong Full Stack Developer to join an AI-first, Agile product team supporting Global Regulatory Sciences (GRS). This role will develop and operate AI-native regulatory products, where large language models, agentic workflows, and data-driven intelligence are the default approach to solving business problems—not an add-on. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on software engineering experience delivering generative and agentic AI solutions in a regulated environment, with a focus on building production-grade platforms, integrations, and data-connected applications that can scale.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated growth mindset with the ability to rapidly prototype, validate hypotheses, and evolve proofs of concept into MVPs and production-ready solutions.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity; quickly building POCs, gathering user feedback, and iterating to MVP with measurable outcomes.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in software development; Pharma/Life Sciences experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java, and a UI framework, preferably React JS
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts and familiarity in developing AI applications.
  • Excellent data analytics skills - SQL/NoSQL databases, able to write efficient queries.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with a demonstrated commitment and passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be a relationship builder and capable of working effectively in a highly matrix organization with strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Practical experience building Generative AI and Agentic AI applications using tools like Claude, OpenAI, LangChain is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker, is a plus.
  • Experience building document ingestion and vectorization pipelines (parsing, cleaning, chunking, metadata enrichment, embedding generation) to support RAG/search use cases.
  • Familiarity with vector storage and retrieval (e.g., Amazon S3 Vectors, OpenSearch vector search, pgvector, or other vector databases), including indexing strategies and relevance tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly prototype AI solutions, validate hypotheses with users and data, and iterate from proof-of-concept to MVP and production-ready releases with measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain LLM-powered and agentic applications as long-lived products, incorporating human-in-the-loop review, controlled model updates, monitoring/observability, and governance (evaluation, auditability, and access controls) into the operating model. Experience with frameworks such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and LangChain.
  • Build scalable, reliable, secure applications using Python and/or Java and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
  • Leverage AI-assisted development and strong software engineering practices to accelerate prototypes into production-grade systems.
  • Design and operate secure document ingestion + vectorization workflows on AWS (S3, event-driven processing), enabling governed retrieval across structured and unstructured Regulatory Affairs content, leveraging Amazon S3 Vectors and/or OpenSearch.
  • Design and implement microservices and APIs on AWS, leveraging event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing where appropriate.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to support repeatable, compliant deployments.
  • Monitor model performance in production and manage drift detection, evaluation, retraining/refresh, and rollback strategies.
  • Investigate issues across systems and data with strong critical thinking, delivering short-term fixes and long-term architectural improvements.
  • Monitor model performance in production and manage model drift, retraining, and rollback strategies.

Benefits
