Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us. Position Summary: We are seeking a strong Full Stack Developer to serve in an AI‑first, agile product team supporting Global Development Operations (GDO). This role is responsible for developing and operating AI-native products where large language models, agentic workflows, and data‑driven intelligence are the default approach to solving business problems—not an add‑on. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on programming experience delivering Generative and Agentic AI solutions and immense passion for continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in software development; Pharma/Life Sciences experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java, and a UI framework, preferably React JS
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts and familiarity in developing AI applications.
  • Good data analytics skills - SQL/NoSQL databases, able to write efficient queries.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with a demonstrated commitment and passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be a relationship builder and capable of working effectively in a highly matrix organization with strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Practical experience building Generative AI and Agentic AI applications using tools like LangChain is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker, is a plus.
  • Pharma/Life Sciences experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop LLM-native and agentic applications using technologies and frameworks and technologies like Claude Code, GitHub CoPilot, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, etc.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and stable applications using Python/Java/Node JS/React JS.
  • Leverage vibe coding best practices to build production-grade applications and prototypes faster.
  • Build rapid prototypes to quickly assess viability of use cases.
  • Implement microservices-based solutions on AWS cloud platform.
  • Incorporate microservices, APIs, MCPs and event-driven processes.
  • Implement CI/CD practices for software applications.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of software products.
  • Research and evaluate new tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and a continuous‑learning mindset, applying new technologies and sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Use critical thinking to investigate issues with systems and data, and identify solutions for short-term remediation and long-term strategy.
