The Senior Specialist Enterprise Resiliency will support the Disaster Recovery segment of the Enterprise Resiliency program by helping design, maintain, and test technology recovery plans that enable timely restoration of operations and technology services during a disruption. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in Disaster Recovery, partnering with associates across the organization to strengthen recovery readiness, advance program standards, and support effective planning, testing, and response.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of technology or Disaster Recovery experience.
  • Experience working with hybrid technical environments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with business partners in remote locations and across varied technical backgrounds.
  • Strong administrative skills, including the ability to develop tasks and manage resources to achieve deliverables.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 22301, FFIEC guidelines, NIST SP 800-34, and ITIL.
  • Ability to lead while also contributing as a productive team member.
  • Strong skills in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and support to management and functional teams to ensure planning and preparation are in place to respond to business disruptions.
  • Create and maintain disaster recovery plans that outline procedures for a range of IT disruptions.
  • Ensure disaster recovery plans align with applicable industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate testing of disaster recovery plans to verify effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Design, create, oversee, and execute the annual technical recovery exercise.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and execution of Technical Recovery Plans, including training technical owners.
  • Review and recommend recovery strategies and support implementation of recovery solutions based on criticality, client expectations, and technical capabilities.
  • Utilize a Business Continuity Management System to support program management
  • Partner with stakeholders to design, develop, maintain, and enhance IT disaster recovery policies, plans, and procedures.
  • Manage administrative and ad hoc project work, including meeting attendance, monthly status reporting, expense processing, documentation, annual recovery exercise leadership, and after-hours or on-call support as required.
