The Senior Specialist, Contracting Strategy & Operations reports to the Director, Contracting Strategy & Contract Operations Lead and lead the end-to-end contracting and business process operations in support of assigned teams in the Scientific Affairs (SA) and US Medical Affairs (MAF) teams. The scope includes but is not limited to Real World Value & Evidence research, advisory boards, sponsorships, steering committees, and HCP consulting agreements. This role is important for helping to ensure compliance with company and departmental policies and processes, primarily related to contracting/procurement and Health Care Compliance review. The individual will work collaboratively both within the SA team and with other North America and Enterprise functions to support new business processes alongside various stakeholders, including Source 2 Contract (Procurement/Contracting), Health Care Compliance (HCC), Legal, IT, and Finance. To achieve results, this role involves working with functional and Enterprise stakeholders. The ideal candidate shows a willingness to learn and has some experience in addressing business challenges and opportunities that can impact the organization. He/she/they should understand operational effectiveness and possess good organizational skills, along with the ability to work well with others across different teams.
