About The Position

Our Solutions Engineers play a crucial role in understanding customer requirements, designing strategic and personalized solutions, and helping secure valuable technical, security, and business validation in strategic pre-sales engagements. They also play a hand in ensuring successful implementation of OneSignal’s platform within diverse customer environments. They collaborate closely with our sales, GTM, product, and engineering teams internally, while working directly with technical stakeholders externally to solve customer needs as a consultative technical partner. The right candidate will have an opportunity to join a growing SE team, and help us to define our strategy and build the SE playbook at OneSignal. This is a ground floor opportunity for someone looking to make an outsized impact and play a role in scaling this important team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS company; 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer role
  • Strong understanding of MarTech, Customer Engagement or Messaging technologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Technical understanding around APIs, SDKs, Databases, Servers
  • Experience with API integrations
  • Ability to work effectively cross functionally, helping to surface customer needs and enable our product and engineering teams to prioritize.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales to drive successful deals and customer outcomes, ultimately increasing our number of enterprise customers
  • Collaborate internally to maintain our external security documentation, demo environments and serve as a Sales Team liaison for product requests
  • Lead qualified product demos and pre-sales process for prospective customers
  • Support solution selling and work cross-functionally with customers and internal partners to find solutions
  • Manage technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses, communicate client needs to R&D teams
  • Lead and successfully execute POCs and POVs, building trust and collaboration with key technical stakeholders, to drive successful completion of engagements.
  • Aid and help secure technical, business, and security wins.
