About The Position

Are you ready to help organizations navigate their cloud journey with AWS? As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be serve as a technical advisor for a premier media and entertainment customer. You will combine deep technical knowledge with business acumen to architect solutions that address complex challenges and drive innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a customer who operates at unprecedented scale. You will leverage your foundational technical knowledge across various domains while diving deep into specific technical areas. With your builder mindset, you'll craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that help customers transform their business through technology. A day in the life Your day begins with internal stakeholder meetings to align on customer priorities before joining customer calls to discuss technical architecture and solution options. You'll spend time experimenting with new services to solve specific customer challenges, then document your findings. Afternoons might include solutioning sessions where you craft architectures that address complex media workloads, followed by building proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility. You'll close your day evangelizing best practices to both internal teams and customers. Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end customer solutions, shepherding them through the implementation lifecycle while combining business acumen with technical skills to architect solutions for complex problems.
• Drive technical solution discussions with customer teams, diving deeply into technical details including design choices, best practices, and use cases.
• Create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others, educating and sharing best practices through sample code, blog posts, presentations, and workshops.
• Build consensus across customer teams by clearly articulating concepts and strategies, harmonizing discordant views and leading resolution of contentious issues.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate solution adoption by componentizing solutions and leveraging existing reusable assets that can benefit the broader customer community.
