About The Position

Within Solutions Consulting, this role operates as a global center of excellence for demos and proposals. It sets standards, maintains core assets, and enables the field to execute with consistency, confidence, and credibility. This role owns global demo standards and Golden Demo experiences, while also acting as a strategic coordinator and editor for written proposals tied to key strategic opportunities. It shapes how Outreach tells its story by building a seamless link between demos and proposals—visually, verbally, and in writing. By ensuring consistency and strategic alignment in messaging across these stages, from demonstrating solutions to crafting proposals, the role maintains coherence, relevance, and outcome-driven impact for all industries, buyer personas, and funnel stages. This role ensures Outreach shows up consistently and credibly in front of customer, whether in a demo or a written proposal. By owning the narrative backbone of the sales cycle, this position directly influences deal quality, POV success, and the field’s ability to scale with confidence.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–7+ years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or a related SaaS pre-sales role
  • Demo Excellence: Proven ability to craft compelling, persona-based demo stories that resonate with executive and practitioner audiences
  • Proposal Acumen: Experience coordinating and editing RFP/RFI/DDQ responses for complex deals
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable operating in configuration-heavy SaaS environments (no coding required)
  • Strong Communicator: Effective both live and in writing, with an eye for clarity, structure, and persuasion
  • Highly Organized: Able to manage evolving demo assets and parallel proposal efforts without losing attention to detail
  • Collaborative & Influential: Able to set standards and drive adoption without direct people management

Responsibilities

  • Own and govern global demo standards for the Solutions Consulting organization.
  • Maintain and evolve the demo environment using Saleo and 1Mind, ensuring accuracy, freshness, and alignment with quarterly product releases.
  • Design and maintain Golden Demos and modular demo assets across: Verticals: Telco, Manufacturing, Financial Services, SaaS & Buyer personas: CRO, RevOps, Field Sellers, SDRs
  • Develop and maintain demo scripts, talk tracks, and storyline frameworks that support the full revenue funnel, from vision to Proof of Value.
  • Ensure demo assets are consistently documented, versioned, and discoverable (e.g., Seismic, video libraries).
  • Partner with Product, PMM, and Enablement to translate roadmap updates, betas, and early-access features into demo-ready narratives.
  • Act as a strategic coordinator and editor for RFPs, RFIs, and formal proposal/questionnaire responses on priority opportunities.
  • Ensure written proposals align tightly with demo narratives, value propositions, and customer evaluation criteria.
  • Supporting go/no-go decisions on strategic proposals
  • Coordinate inputs across Sales, Security, Legal, Product, and other SMEs, maintaining clarity, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain and continuously improve reusable proposal content, ensuring it reflects current product capabilities, security posture, and positioning.
  • Help standardize proposal structure and messaging to reduce friction for the field while improving consistency and quality.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment, collaborating with individuals at all levels of the organization to ensure timely achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to Field SCs and AEs by enabling scalable, high-quality demos and proposal assets.
  • Collaborate with Enablement and PMM to support onboarding, rollout, and adoption of demo and proposal standards.
  • Act as a feedback loop to Product and PMM based on field usage, POV outcomes, and customer responses.
