Senior Software Gaming Engineer

About The Position

This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for applying knowledge of software gaming to assist in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and optimization of visual fidelity, responsiveness, functionality, performance, and power of game applications for mobile, computer, XR, and auto products. Assists in the design and development of game rendering, engine and algorithms. Develops new game software, game engines and/or gaming tools and enhance existing commercial game engines for hardware targets and operating systems. Utilizes gaming software running on CPU, GPU, and other application processor components. Debugs gaming issues (e.g., rendered images, power, performance) and designs experiments to prove or disprove theories, determine the source, and develop solutions. Assists in performing pre- and post- target bring up game verification to validate correctness and ensure performance and power goals are met for top games. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings..

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Game Development, Interactive Technology, Computer Science or related degree field.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Game Development, Interactive Technology, Computer Science or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
