About The Position

Leidos has an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in their Intel Sector, focusing on Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. The LOE program aims to provide the customer's Operations organization with optimal solutions for mission needs through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research, including leading-edge visualizations, analytic development, and exploring new data sources and tradecraft. The role involves supporting a lab environment by installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation, assisting customers in developing and testing experiments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus eleven (11) to fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.
Strong development experience in a variety of languages (ex., java, python).
Experience in integrating with customers’ cloud-based data systems.
Experience installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop capabilities designed to help solve common problems arising from various analyst offices.
Perform prototype development to extend enterprise services, support analytics, enhance machine learning, and develop commercial cloud solutions.
Support the integration and evaluation of open source, emerging technologies, and new COTS applications.
Work directly with customers, developers, or data scientists to gather requirements and feedback.
