About the team: The Finance Data Foundations team delivers scalable, reliable solutions to manage Finance Plan and Forecast data supporting key business users and operations. The team focuses on analyzing requirements, designing robust components, and ensuring high-quality code through continuous development and testing. Emphasizing technical expertise and iterative improvement, members contribute to platform design and product strategy. Collaboration and a commitment to secure, efficient delivery enable the team to address evolving financial data needs effectively, supporting critical business functions with precision and agility.

Requirements

Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
Proven ability to deliver scoped features and models through collaborative, iterative development and continuous integration.
Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance software solutions.
Solid understanding of software lifecycle management, including automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and maintenance.
Demonstrated technical judgment in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with business goals.
Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of scoped features and components through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives.
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code across multiple programming languages, supporting full software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
Monitor application performance, support defect resolution, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
