About the position
As a Generalist in Applications Engineering at Standard AI, you will be responsible for building web and mobile applications that facilitate seamless interactions between retailers, shoppers, and internal users. Collaborating with backend and data engineers, you will design and develop web apps and APIs to create exceptional customer experiences. This full-time role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the US. Responsibilities
- Build and refine web and mobile applications for internal and external users
- Ensure application code is flexible, maintainable, testable, and reliable
- Iterate and test experimental tools to solve user problems
- Collaborate with machine learning, design, product, and other teams to build the right tools and experiences
- Join a small team of full-stack developers and contribute to architectural decisions
- Have 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer with a focus on front-end development
- Build and publish user-friendly enterprise web applications using React with Typescript
- Familiarity with different design libraries and ability to build custom components
- Collaborative and enjoy working with and mentoring other developers
- Experience designing and writing service code for specific APIs using Python (or other languages) with understanding of SQL and database technologies

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer with a focus on front-end development of complex software, in a team environment
- Experience building and publishing user-friendly enterprise web applications using React with Typescript
- Familiarity with different design libraries and ability to build custom components
- Collaborative mindset and enjoyment in working with and mentoring other developers through code review and design discussions
- Experience designing and writing service code for specific APIs, with a good understanding of SQL and other database technologies
