About The Position
deciBel Research is seeking a senior level software developer to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) development for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform. The successful candidate will work alongside other developers and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support test and analysis activities, and perform software debugging and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements
- 12+ years experience in Software Development on DoD programs
- Strong Linux experience
- Proficiency with C and C++ on Linux
- Proficiency with Java
- Proficiency with parallel processing
- Strong Matlab and/or Python experience
- Understanding of basic statistics
- Experience with GIT version control
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and leading development teams
- Demonstrated experience developing presentation materials and briefing customers/stakeholders
- Experience with DoD radars and/or C2BMC
- Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
- Knowledge of radar systems
- Experience working with Ground Test and Flight Test data
- Experience with H5 file format
