About The Position
deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Mid-level Software Developer in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: deciBel Research is seeking a junior level software developer to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) development for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform. The successful candidate will work alongside other developers and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support test and analysis activities, and perform software debugging and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in Software Development on DoD programs
- Experience with C or C++ on Linux
- Experience with Java
- Experience with parallel processing
- Strong Matlab and/or Python experience
- Understanding of basic statistics
- Experience with GIT version control
- Ability to work with a team and also independently
- Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
- Familiarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMC
- General knowledge of radar systems
- Experience working with Ground Test and Flight Test data
- Experience with H5 file format
