About The Position
deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: deciBel Research is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Ground-based Mid-course Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program within the Ground Support Systems (GSS) team. This role plays a critical part in developing and sustaining software that supports missile defense capabilities. The selected candidate will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing to the design, development, and testing of software solutions that support mission-critical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelors and 8 years of experience or Masters and 6 years
- Experience developing in Java and C++
- Experience using Python
- Experience working in a Linux based environment
- DoD Secret clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Java GUI development in JavaFX
- Experience with C++11 and above
- DoD Top Secret clearance
- Security+ Certification
