Raytheon's Software Configuration Management (SWCM) department establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle. SWCM department is hiring a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer , to work as a Software Transfer Agent onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. What You Will Do: SWCM department provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products: embedded software, firmware/configurable logic, test equipment, simulation, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and tools. Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams Automate and streamline transfer procedures and processes Create customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirements Trouble-shoot / repair issues, escalations, and action items Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycle Ensure site baseline and post deploy verifications Perform and lead coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments Work onsite Schriever Space Force Base site

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) AND a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systems
• Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
• Strong background in task automation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, PHP, C#, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
• Work effectively with stakeholders from cross discipline organizations
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite, CloudBees Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Chef, Rundeck
