Collaborates with DoIT IT teams, procurement, legal, clients, and vendors in support of software license cost optimization and standardization. Administers and utilizes enterprise SAM tools and software management portals, such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, Adobe Admin Console, and other equivalent platforms, including accurately tracking of software entitlements, installations, reclamation, and usage across supported agencies.  Monitors and maintains continuous compliance with software licensing agreements and contractual obligations, including preparing for internal and external audits, providing documentation and reports as requested.  Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of responsibilities enumerated above.

Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completing four (4) years of college with coursework in computer science or related fields.
  • Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Client Services or related Information Technology field.
  • Requires three (3) years of professional experience managing software assets, licenses, or IT Asset Management (ITAM), including Software Asset Management (SAM) practices, ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements, and optimizing software investments.
  • Requires three (3) years of professional experience with initiating and understanding IT procurement processes, including researching, gathering information, reviewing purchase requests, validating accuracy, and tracking contract renewals.
  • Requires three (3) years of professional experience in IT contract management and software licensing administration, including coordinating vendor relationships and supporting software true-ups and renewals.
  • Requires three (3) years of professional experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating cross-functional teams, providing guidance to analysts and technical staff, and aligning team efforts with enterprise objectives.

  • Ability to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess compliance risks, evaluate operational or procedural issues, and develop remediation strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, clients, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, present technical information to diverse audiences, and assist in planning and delivering training and development programs.
