Job Description Jellyfish is looking to hire a Senior Social Content & Influencer Manager to join our team Your role is to lead the day-to-day delivery of our clients’ social media presence to achieve their KPIs. You will be able to lead on complete projects, providing oversight and support to junior team members. You will oversee the development and delivery of social media calendars, ensuring all content aligns with platform best practices and client objectives. Additionally, you will lead or oversee creator/influencer management, while also helping to drive innovation in social media strategies. This role requires a strong blend of social content expertise and hands-on influencer marketing experience, with a focus on delivering integrated, creator-led social campaigns. With a deep understanding of social audiences and trends, you will collaborate with other agency capabilities (project management, brand strategy, creative, production) and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality, culturally relevant content that resonates with target audiences. You will be a team player, able to loop the right teams at the right time, and to know when to escalate a situation. This is a flexible hybrid position based out of our New York office. The salary range for this role is between $105,000-110,000 USD, annually, and is dependent on experience.

Requirements

  • Expertise across all social media platforms as needed: Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Twitch. Extensive knowledge of platform best practices.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as expert presentation skills.
  • Confident taking the lead when talking to clients via email, call or in-person.
  • Well-versed in internet culture with a keen interest in pop-culture.
  • A deep understanding of social audiences and fandoms, with the understanding and ability to speak niche language of the internet.
  • Hands-on experience managing influencer campaigns, including creator sourcing, negotiations, contracting workflows, and post-campaign recaps.
  • Proficient expertise of Platform Business Manager (i.e Facebook business manager, X business, Snapchat for Business, TikTok Studio) and native platform tools/products.
  • Understanding of paid media creative and ability to work with media agencies.
  • Experience problem solving cross-functionally in an organization, with the ability to flex and pivot in a fast-paced industry, as well as the ability to identify when something needs to be escalated internally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee asset delivery for our clients' social media output, including both brand-led and creator/influencer-led content, ensuring best practices are followed across briefing, production, and delivery.
  • Create and oversee social copy development, ensuring it aligns with brand voice and platform best practices. Support in the development of Tone of Voice guidelines as needed.
  • Own creator and influencer management end-to-end, including research and sourcing, outreach, briefing, feedback, and relationship management with creators and their agents.
  • Support influencer negotiations, contract reviews, and edit requests in partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring deliverables, usage rights, timelines, and budgets are clearly defined.
  • Be the social lead on client events/shoots, directing talent, to include pre production and content capture at client events/shoots, as needed.
  • Lead the management our client's social media channels, from development and delivery of social media calendars (for both paid and organic assets) to planning posting schedules, publishing and community management.
  • Drive strategic creative ideas and support new business opportunities, including deck development and client presentations.
  • Oversee development and delivery of social media reports for our clients, applying social best practices to provide analysis and optimizations.
  • Support new business activities, including social strategy/ideation, deck development, and client presentations.
  • Stay up to date with the new trends/behaviors on social media, identifying tactical and strategic opportunities for our clients - translating to clients in a reactive and relevant way.
  • Manage a team of social content managers and designers within a project, delegate tasks to ensure deadlines and project KPIs are met while escalating to Directors as needed.
