Position Summary: This role is at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, upon award of contract. The Senior Site Manager serves as the on-site lead responsible for the overall management, coordination, and execution of testing, maintenance, and operational support activities for small watercraft. Ensures proper resource allocation, coordination with Government representatives, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Directs site activities including vessel support, equipment readiness, logistics coordination, and facility operations. Provides reports, status updates, and operational planning. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee daily, on-site operations and ensure the effective execution of testing, maintenance, and repair activities for small watercraft. Manage a multidisciplinary team of skilled technicians, captains, and support staff, ensuring proper allocation of resources and adherence to schedules. Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintenance standards, and operational procedures. Coordinate with client representatives, program leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure timely communication and reporting of site activities and performance metrics. Review and approve work documentation, maintenance logs, and test records to verify accuracy and completeness. Plan and schedule preventative maintenance and inspection programs to optimize operational readiness. Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for assigned staff. Ensure all operations comply with applicable regulations, technical manuals, and company quality management systems. Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges impacting site performance. Support audits, inspections, and reviews as required by the client or contracting authority.
