About The Position

We also seek to support caregivers in a variety of ways as they navigate new experiences, their needs, and the needs of their loved ones. The Senior Services Case Aide will primarily be responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Services department. The Senior Services Case Aide will also complete indirect client services by providing direct administrative support to the Holocaust Survivor Program and other Senior Services programs. Tasks may include maintaining resources, mailing, data entry, data gathering and project coordination. There is minimal direct client work in this position. The hired candidate must have the ability to work independently, maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail, and have a strong desire to be a member of a team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in supporting the work being done by the Senior Services team to support clients and family caregivers. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of full-time employment in a general office support position in a professional office setting, or educational equivalent.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite of programs and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Current Minnesota driver’s license, safe driving record, auto insurance, and regular and consistent access to a motor vehicle.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong, clear professional boundaries.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with colleagues in Senior Services and other departments.
  • Working or otherwise developing relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, such as differences related to culture, religion, financial resources, race, national origin, age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, and abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Russian highly preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support (85%): Manage monthly gift card distribution and caregiver timesheets.
  • Maintain departmental records on service utilization.
  • Develop system for storing needed documents.
  • Lead annual gift card distribution program.
  • Oversee and assist with Peer Review process.
  • Faxing, paperwork and file preparation, mailings, and other administrative duties.
  • Senior Services Support (15%): Research resources and maintain resource listing.
  • Serve as liaison to Volunteer Services for Hag Sameach extended visits.
  • Case management coverage tasks such as paperwork drop off/pick up and bringing food to clients in need.
  • Accompany case managers to client appointments as needed.
