About The Position

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and ongoing maintenance of Homesteaders’ Salesforce CRM platforms. This role supports both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) applications across multiple business units and may include responsibilities across multiple Salesforce orgs/environments. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, product leadership, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve user experience, data quality, and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to high school graduation and a 4-year college/university degree OR equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience administering Salesforce required; experience supporting complex user populations (internal + external) preferred.
  • 1+ Salesforce certification required (Administrator required, Advanced Administrator preferred)
  • Strong experience with Salesforce security and access (profiles, permission sets/PSGs, sharing), flow automation, reporting/dashboards, and data management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multiple Salesforce orgs/environments is a plus.
  • Experience with these tools is a plus; Ownbackup, Copado, Plauti, Avonni, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Maps, Cirrus, Azure DevOps and Data Loader.

Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Perform core administrative functions including user provisioning and access management, role hierarchy maintenance, configuration management, report and dashboard development, and overall system health. Support release readiness activities including upgrade support, writing test scripts, peer testing, and coordinating UAT.
  • Process Analysis, Design, and Build: Work with teams at all levels to analyze business processes and requirements. Design and build scalable solutions using Salesforce declarative tools (Flow, configuration, reporting), regularly requesting feedback to ensure solutions meet business needs and drive adoption.
  • System Evangelist: Partner with Product Management to encourage adoption, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop use cases that align to roadmap priorities.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate and communicate prioritization of Salesforce development and enhancements among a core group of stakeholders representing each business unit. Seek guidance and input on changes impacting business processes, data, and system architecture.
  • Development Coordination: Collaborate with internal developers and/or external firms on advanced functionality, integrations, and troubleshooting. Partner with third-party vendors on issue resolution, product enhancements, and release planning.
  • Admin Training & Enablement: Develop training materials and documentation for new processes and features. Provide user support and enablement and mentor junior Salesforce administrators.
  • System Support & Continuous Improvement: Triage and resolve bugs and requests assigned to the support queue. Act promptly on identified issues to ensure system stability, performance, and excellent end-user experience. Identify and recommend improvements to data quality, automation, and reporting.
