Rogers Group, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Sales Representative in the
Middle TN, Gallatin area for our Southern Division, reporting to the Director of
Sales. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety,
quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and
additional operations through growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and success in sales environment required
• Proven sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Capable of demonstrating knowledge of products, market conditions, and competitors.
• Excellent verbal, written communications and presentation skills required
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Occasional overnight travel is required

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience in the aggregates, asphalt, construction, or related industry strongly preferred
• Knowledge of the marketing area is preferred
• Bachelor's degree or experienced based discipline is required, Business or Construction Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversight of +2M tons of aggregate sales in the greater Nashville area north
• Increasing revenue and margins through disciplined market management
• Maintaining favorable and effective relationships with current customers
• Identifying and prospecting new customers and capturing information in Salesforce
• Favorably resolving customer complaints as necessary
• Analyze market trends and develop action plans to capitalize on shifts in market
• Develop and execute specific strategies to obtain new business
• Working with internal teams to ensure product quality and availability
• Assist in overseeing the sales process from pricing, to preparing contracts, forecasting, and assisting in credit and collections
• Assessing sales functions and potential on prospective acquisitions
